Coach
I have always been an athlete. While I was raised in the world of competitive and professional dance, I eventually followed my family's footsteps and joined my high school's cross country team. I had my ups and downs with the sport, battling constant injuries and performance anxiety, but I always knew I had a passion for running and leading others through fitness. I eventually became the captain of my team. During my collegiate years, I focused on rediscovering joy in sport while prioritizing both my physical and mental health. I pushed my limits, ran two marathons, and founded the Wayne State University Run Club in 2020.
As a coach, my #1 goal is to create a fun, uplifting, and inclusive workout environment where people feel safe, supported, and inspired to reach their goals. I believe the most important part of progress is simply showing up—day after day, together. But I don’t create this environment alone. It takes a village. Community is the heartbeat of CrossFit. My life has been changed by the people I’ve met in the gym—through career shifts, personal growth, and even meeting my husband. Everyone in the gym brings something unique to the table, and together, we build the kind of support system that keeps us coming back. That's the beauty of CrossFit.
